Prof Matt Duckham has been training for innovators and leaders in GIS and geospatial for more than 20 years.

As lead author of GIS: A Computing Perspective, the world’s leading advanced undergraduate and postgraduate textbook in spatial computing and GIS, and lecturer at leading universities in three continents, Matt brings a wealth of expertise, experience, and tried-and-tested learning resources, delivered in his accessible and interactive style.

Past training programs and modules developed by Matt have included spatial databases; spatial algorithms; knowledge graphs and ontologies for spatial information; cartography, geovisualization, and interface design; location privacy; as well as geoAI and many other aspects of GIS and spatial computing.
